Ghana Music Awards invites nominations for 25th anniversary
Nominations are open for the premiere and topmost music awards event in Ghana, the Ghana Music Awards (GMAs), for sometime called VGMAs because of the title sponsor, Vodafone Ghana.
The announcement was made today, Monday, January 29, 2024, with a flyer, on the GMAs' X.

"Calling on all GH Artistes, Producers and Record Labels,
"Nominations for the 25th Ghana Music Awards are officially open.
"Kindly submit works from Jan 1st - Dec 31st, 2023, for consideration via our website: http://entry.ghanamusicawards.com, before or by entry deadline," the GMAs indicated by caption.
The 2023 Artiste of the Year, the ultimate brag at the GMAs, was singer-songwriter and rapper Black Sherif.
Meanwhile, Telecel Group has acquired Vodafone Group PLC's 70 per cent majority shares in Vodafone Ghana (Ghana Telecommunications Company Limited – GTCL). It is yet to be communicated if Telecel will automatically become the GMAs title sponsor.
