The host and producer for Voice of America's award-winning show ‘Music Time in Africa’, Heather Maxwell, has said the song ‘Happy Yourself’ by the Fra Band featuring Kyekyeku is one of her favourite songs.

The VOA presenter was speaking in an interview with Prince Benjamin on the Class Drive (CD) on Class91.3FM, Tuesday, 26 November 2019.

Maxwell said: “There’s one song that I love, I can’t get enough of, and it’s a song by the band Fra featuring Kyekyeku. You know what, you play that on a Friday, it sets you up for the week; you play it on a Monday, it sets you up for a good week; like anytime, I love that song and actually, I love live music, so, I’ll say that’s a top song, it is.” 

Heather Maxwell is also an ethnomusicologist and experienced music professional in West Africa and the United States.

She is currently in Ghana for a series of events.

While in Ghana, the VOA presenter will also be co-hosting the CD.

The CD airs on Class91.3FM every weekday from 3 to 7 p.m.
