Kwabena Kwabena: Ghana's the best African country; the police service is one reason

Ghanaian Highlife star Kwabena Kwabena has categorically stated that in his experience, Ghana is the best country in Africa and has the best police service.
He said this challenging citizens of his home country to travel abroad to other parts of the continent to see for themselves how the Ghana Police Service compares to others.
Kwabena Kwabena was Nana Romeo's guest on 'Ayekoo Ayekoo' on Accra 100.5 FM, Thursday, February 2, 2023.
"Ghana is a very beautiful country. I want to state on record that if you're Ghanaian and you've never travelled to any of the African sub regions like West, East, Central and South Africa, if you've not been anywhere, I want to encourage you by saying that let's cherish our country," Kwabena Kwabena said this with an air of seriousness.
He continued by saying, Ghana "is one of the best in Africa!"
"If [Ghana is] not the best, it's one of the best in Africa," he stressed.
Romeo asked the Highlife star to explain why he thinks so.
Kwabena Kwabena reflected for a while and answered: "If you can, go to the Aflao border right now and enter the Francophone zone and see how the police will handle you."
Clapping, he added: "Kudos to our police service [in Ghana]." He admitted that: "We have our [unique] problems," and added, that notwithstanding: "I can confidently say that they [Ghana Police Service] is one of the best."
Romeo cited a recent social media complaint about alleged local police misconduct.
The 'Kwadede' hitmaker responded by saying: "Of course there will be some bad nuts. In this world, you will never get everything to be a strict 100% quality."
He explained his stance on the quality of the Ghana Police Service by stating that: "I'm saying this in comparison to other African countries and saying, given where we find ourselves, we need to pride ourselves in the quality of police service we enjoy."
"We hope for the best [still] but we are not that bad," he concluded. "It is distastefully horrible in some other places."
The beloved singer released a new 14-track album, 'Fa Me Saa (Take Me As I Am)', on Friday, November 11, 2022.
His Vitamilk Love Night concert is set to take place at the National Theatre on Saturday, February 11, 2023.
