Mona 4Reall released | She’s home but traumatised, demoralised – Publicist

Publicist for the embattled Ghanaian socialite and singer Mona 4Reall, formerly known as Hajia 4 Real, has disclosed that the artiste who was arrested by police officers in the United Kingdom has been released and she is home.
According to the publicist, GH Hyper, Mona will soon issue a statement, possibly in video form, but is currently demoralised and traumatised due to the arrest and subsequent avalanche of criticism from Ghanaians.
“The latest [is] Mona is in the UK, she’s doing what she’s supposed to do,” GH Hyper said and assured: “She’ll come out to say something or we’ll release a communique. It’ll come with a video or whatever, for you people to know that she is okay.”
“Whatever happened, it has really demoralised her, because the way Ghanaians treated her wasn’t the best.
First, “you people claimed that she is a prostitute, and she managed to veer off from that side [to] do something on her own. Look at her music career, she started and people were like, ‘What is she doing?’ but as time goes on, people are falling in love with her craft and all that.
“She was fast-rising and you people decided to clamp her [in] this way… Ghanaians deciding to clamp her like this was not the best,” the ‘Hit’ hitmaker’s publicist bemoaned speaking to Ghanaweekend.com’s Kwame Dadzie at the Rhythms on Da Runway event on Sunday, 20 November 2022.
GH Hyper could not give a definite answer to when the singer would return home to Ghana.
“She’s traumatised,” he offered and explained if he were in her shoes, given the trauma and fevered criticism, he would find it difficult to come back to Ghana. “I’d love to come back but I wouldn’t know when.”
“She’s home in [the UK],” he said and further disclosed: “Lawyers are talking to her, she’s traumatised, so it’s been advised that family and friends should hold on with calls and contact for now because the way she is traumatised, a psychologist is working on her.”
On Saturday, 12 November, reports broke that singer Mona Fiaz Montrage, alias, Mona 4Reall, had been picked up by the UK police in collaboration with Interpol at Heathrow Airport.
Artiste Manager Ghana Music Awards UK official, Kwesi Ernest, confirmed Mona’s arrest and explained she was asked off a British Airways flight headed to Accra.
“I can confirm that she was picked up just when she was about to set off on her flight back to Ghana but we don’t have any information on her charges and where she is at the moment,” he said on Accra-based Peace FM’s Entertainment Review.
It is rumoured Mona 4Reall was arrested for alleged involvement in an US$8 million fraud which reportedly happened in the United States of America.
She was in the UK to perform at the Ghana Music Awards UK 2022 event which happened on Saturday, 29 October. During the ceremony, she received the Best Music Video of the Year award for her Rex directed ‘Bad Gyal’.
