COCOBOD management begins new year with staff engagement tour
The management of the Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD), led by its Chief Executive Officer, Dr Ransford Anertey Abbey, has embarked on a New Year tour of COCOBOD’s offices, subsidiaries and divisions to officially welcome staff back to work.
The tour formed part of efforts by management to interact with staff, assess operational readiness for the year ahead and reinforce the organisation’s strategic direction.
Addressing staff during the visits, Dr Abbey commended employees for their professionalism and dedication to duty, describing their contribution as critical to the stability and growth of Ghana’s cocoa sector.
He urged staff to anchor the new year on teamwork, transparency and a shared sense of purpose, stressing that collaboration across departments remains essential to achieving COCOBOD’s mandate.
The Chief Executive also reaffirmed management’s commitment to staff welfare, assuring workers that their well-being remains a priority as COCOBOD works to strengthen and modernise the cocoa industry.
Dr Abbey noted that the New Year engagement reflects management’s resolve to foster open communication and collective responsibility in driving sustainable growth in Ghana’s cocoa sector.
