The Ambassador-Designate of the Republic of Ghana to the Federative Republic of Brazil has officially assumed office, with a pledge to strengthen and expand relations between the two countries.

In his inaugural statement, Ambassador Nii Amassa Namoale expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama and the Government of Ghana for entrusting him with the responsibility, promising to serve with “dedication, integrity, and loyalty.”

He highlighted the long-standing bond of friendship and cooperation between Ghana and Brazil, rooted in shared history, mutual respect, and common aspirations.

His mandate, he explained, would focus on deepening bilateral cooperation in key sectors such as trade and investment, tourism, engineering, infrastructure development, and the services industry.

“These areas hold great promise for job creation, technological exchange, and sustainable growth, and I am confident that with shared commitment, Ghana and Brazil can achieve new milestones of progress,” he noted.

The Ambassador further assured that he would work closely with the Government and people of Brazil, the Ghanaian community in the country, and other stakeholders to ensure engagements produce tangible outcomes that advance prosperity.

As he begins his tenure in Brasília, he reaffirms his commitment to projecting Ghana’s values, safeguarding national interests, and fostering greater understanding between the peoples of Ghana and Brazil.
