John Jinapor pays courtesy call on Debre-Wura during Damba festival

The Minister for Energy and Green Transition, John Jinapor, has paid a courtesy call on Jira Debre-Wura Sulwa Adanabatu Boresa II, Overlord of the Debre Traditional Area, as part of this year’s Damba Festival celebrations.
During the visit, the Minister expressed his gratitude to the chief and people of Debre for their continuous support and warm reception.
He also conveyed the appreciation of President John Dramani Mahama, assuring the community of the government’s commitment to their development.
Mr. Jinapor reaffirmed that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) remains dedicated to maintaining strong engagement with traditional authorities and communities across the country.
The Damba Festival, which holds deep cultural and historical significance in northern Ghana, continues to serve as a platform for unity, tradition, and dialogue between leaders and their people.
