NDC Polls: Ras Mubarak falls to Adam

National Democratic Congress (NDC) incumbent member of parliament for Kumbungu Constituency, Ras Mubarak has lost the party’s parliamentary primaries.
Organised on Saturday, 24 August 2019, Dr Hamza Adam beat the sitting MP to lead the NDC in the Kumbungu constituency parliamentary polls in the 2020 elections.
Dr Hamza Adam had 401 votes, followed by Mr Mubarak who polled 273. The third contender Mr Baba polled 81 with nine rejected votes.
