State prosecutors representing the Attorney General, Dominic Ayine, have filed 49 evidential documents in the National Service Authority (NSA) case involving former Executive Director Osei Assibey Antwi.

Mr Assibey Antwi has pleaded not guilty to 21 charges linked to the NSA ghost names scandal, following amendments to an earlier charge sheet that initially contained 14 counts.

The updated charges include wilfully causing financial loss to the state amounting to over GH¢431.8 million. In total, the counts comprise six charges of causing financial loss, 9 related to stealing and money laundering, and five counts of improper payment of public funds.

Principal State Attorney Dufie Prempeh told the court that the Republic has submitted the first set of disclosure documents and will file additional materials.

The case, presided over by Kizita Naa Koowa Quarshie, has been adjourned to May 13, 2026, for a case management conference.

The court also granted a request by the defence for the accused to report to the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) office in Kumasi, after the prosecution raised no objection.
