KNMTC SRC fights electrical gadgets ban

The leadership of the Students Representative Council (SRC) of the Korle Bu Nursing and Midwifery Training College (KNMTC) is soliciting the support of the entire student body to reject the school management’s decision to stop them from using electrical gadgets in their hostels.
According to the SRC, the student body is not happy with a recent notice issued by the school authorities banning the use of fans, rice cookers and fridges in the hostels and directing that all such items be sent home.
"How are we going to feed ourselves next semester if we've been ordered to bag our electrical gadgets home?" the SRC quizzed in a statement, since, according to the leadership of the students, all shops have been closed and food vendors have been banned from entering their campus.
The SRC noted that it is willing to fight in favour of the student body but requires the full support of the entire student population to make the fight successful.
The SRC further stated that it will do everything within its power to seek redress or get management to rescind its decision.
