Renowned Ghanaian technology leader and CEO of Margins Group, Moses Baiden, is set to speak at the highly anticipated 2025 ID4Africa Annual General Meeting (AGM), taking place at the Ethiopian Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa.
Mr. Baiden will deliver a keynote presentation titled: “Unlocking the Power of Digital Identity: The Ghana Card’s Impact on Healthcare.”
His address will explore how Ghana’s innovative digital identity system is revolutionising healthcare access and delivery, while providing a blueprint for other African nations aiming to build secure, inclusive, and efficient identity ecosystems.
The session is expected to offer deep insights into the integration of the Ghana Card with national health infrastructure, enhancing patient verification, reducing fraud, and improving service delivery through real-time data interoperability.
“The Ghana Card is not just a piece of identification—it’s a game-changer for healthcare delivery,” said Mr. Baiden ahead of the event.
“This is about putting identity at the centre of development, ensuring every citizen has access to essential services with dignity and efficiency.”
The ID4Africa AGM is a premier platform that brings together identity stakeholders, government leaders, and technology innovators from across the continent to shape the future of digital identity in Africa.
Mr. Baiden’s contribution is expected to underscore Ghana’s leadership in identity innovation and its potential to inspire scalable solutions continent-wide.
His presentation is one of the headline sessions of the event and will further reinforce the importance of citizen-centric digital transformation in Africa’s development agenda.
