NSMQ 2025: Mfantsipim triumphs, earns consecutive glory
Mfantsipim School has successfully lifted the 2025 National Maths & Science Quiz trophy, earning consecutive glory.
After five nail-biting rounds, the 2024 champions affectionately called Kwabotwe or Botwe earned 55 points, St Augustine School (Augusco) 42 points, and Opoku Ware Secondary School (OWASS) settled for 29 points.

The showdown took place at the University of Cape Coast’s NEC Auditorium, Cape Coast, Central Region, with the legendary Professor Elsie Effah Kaufmann presiding as quiz mistress.
'God is a MOBA!' was the chant the Botwe boys celebrated with, the 2025 victory making four-time NSMQ champions. MOBA means Mfantsipim Old Boys Association.

This is the second consecutive time Botwe has held Augusco back from the crown. Last year, only one point separated the Cape Coast-based rivals as Botwe carried the day with 47 points.
