Young Executive School students embark on exciting educational tour in Malaysia

A 25-member delegation from Young Executive School in the Central Region has safely arrived in Malaysia for a two-week educational and cultural tour, marking yet another milestone in the school’s commitment to providing global exposure for its students.
The team, made up of 19 students and six caregivers – including the Director, Rev. Dr. Nana Francis Essel-Okyeahene I, the Headmaster, Mr. Enoch Dampson, and some journalists – departed Ghana aboard Ethiopian Airways, with stopovers in Addis Ababa and Singapore before touching down in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s vibrant capital.
Upon arrival, the group was warmly welcomed with music and treated to a sumptuous dinner at a restaurant in the heart of the city’s business district.
The delegation is lodged at the ParkRoyal Hotel, a five-star facility in central Kuala Lumpur.
Students have been enjoying comfortable accommodation and a variety of continental dishes.
Meals have also been a highlight, with lunch served at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on the 13th floor, offering breathtaking views of the city, and dinner at the Delhi & Delhi Restaurant inside the Kingston Hotel.
The evenings were spiced with Ghanaian highlife classics and other African tunes, creating a lively, homely atmosphere for the young scholars.
Guided by an English-speaking tour guide, the students explored Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, Malaysia’s federal administrative capital.
Key highlights included:
A tour of the magnificent Putra Mosque (Masjid Putra).
Scenic views of the royal palace and the residence of the Prime Minister.
A visit to the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC), where the delegation posed for memorable group photographs.
After a day of exploration, the group retired to their hotel, eager for the next day’s activities.
According to school authorities, the educational trip is designed to give students practical exposure to global cultures, enhance their learning experiences, and build international networks.
The first two days of the tour, filled with sightseeing, fine dining, and cultural immersion, have already given the students a memorable experience that blends both education and recreation.
