Brazen daylight robbery sparks panic at Accra's Adabraka market
Four masked gunmen struck at Accra’s busy Adabraka Market on Saturday, 2 November 2024, seizing cash from a parked red Toyota Corolla in broad daylight.
The dramatic scene unfolded amidst startled residents and vendors as the armed men brazenly fired shots into the air, sending shoppers scattering in fear.
Witnesses described how the robbers approached the parked Toyota with weapons drawn, creating a wave of panic through the crowded market as gunfire echoed.
Many scrambled for cover behind stalls or fled as the robbers broke into the vehicle, snatching several large sacks of cash before loading them into their getaway vehicle.
