Kumasi ‘lover cop’ case adjourned to Oct. 14

The High Court in Kumasi High has adjourned the trial of Inspector Ahmed Twumasi, the police officer accused of murdering his girlfriend.
The case has been adjourned to Thursday, 14 October 2024.
The adjournment was necessitated by the legal year break.
In court on Tuesday, 30 July 2024, the defense lawye cross-examined DSP Francis Nimoh, a crime scene officer, regarding the evidence collected from the crime scene and other pertinent details.
Inspector Twumasi stands accused of killing his girlfriend, Victoria Dapaah, also known as Maadwoa, on April 20, 2023.
Nana Addo Barima, the head of the deceased’s family, expressed unwavering confidence that justice will be served in the case.
