Police mourns colleague shot dead by unknown assailants at Bawku

The Police Administration is mourning the death of Constable Regina Angenu of Paga Police Station, Bawku Division.
Constable Angenu met her untimely death while off duty, when she was shot at Bawku by unknown assailants while on her way on a motorbike to Bawku Barracks on Sunday, January 23, 2022.
She was rushed to the Presbyterian Mission Hospital, Bawku, but passed away while responding to treatment.
The Police administration has extended its sincerest condolences to the bereaved family, colleagues and friends.
The security agency has urged the family to remain calm as investigation is underway to get the perpetrators arrested to face justice.
