Railway development Ministry gets new advisory board

The Ministry for Railway Development has inaugurated a newly-constructed advisory board for the sector.
The board was inaugurated by the Deputy Minister,Kweku Asante-Boateng,Wednesday, 15 December 2021 on behalf of sector Minister, John-peter Amewu.
The 12-member board by the end of its tenure is expected to bring into fruition President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s vision for the country’s railway industry and infrastructure;revamped and modernised.
The 12-member board is made up of Chairperson and Railway development Minister John-peter Amewu; Deputy Railway Development Minister Kweku Asante-Boateng; Chief Director of the ministry, Desmond Boateng; Acting. CEO of Ghana Railway Development Authority-GRDA, Ernest Yaw Owusu; Acting CEO of Ghana Railway Company Ltd-GRCL, Michael Adjei Anyetei.
The others include, Representative of the finance ministry, David klotey Collison; Representative of Ghana Institute of Engineering, Issaka Yakubu; Representative of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and transport, Andrews Osei Mensah; Secretary to the board - Ministry of Railway development, Godwin Gadikor; Government nominee, Togbe Keh XII; Government nominee, Beatrice Agbley; Government nominee, Abdallah Mohammed Sadiq.
