Amasaman MCE and MP join GWGSH to unveil commemorative plaque honouring hospital’s contribution to healthcare
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ga West, Mr. John Desmond Sowah Nai, and the Member of Parliament for Amasaman Constituency, Mr. Sedem Kweku Afenyo, have joined management of the Ga West Government Hospital (GWGSH) to unveil a commemorative plaque marking the official opening of the facility.
The ceremony, held at the hospital premises, celebrated the hospital’s ongoing commitment to advancing healthcare delivery in Ghana and highlighted its vital role in improving medical services within the Ga West Municipality and beyond.
The unveiled plaque serves as a lasting symbol of the hospital’s dedication to public health excellence and as a formal record of the historic inauguration day.
In brief remarks, both the MCE and the MP commended the hospital’s management and staff for their dedication to quality healthcare delivery and urged continued collaboration between local authorities, the health sector, and community stakeholders to sustain and expand the facility’s impact.
The event also drew participation from hospital administrators, traditional leaders, and community members, who hailed the milestone as a testament to the power of partnership and public service in strengthening Ghana’s health system.
