Bawumia’s 16 regional tours have given NPP hope to break -the- eight-Kumah
Mr. Raymond Kumah, a member of the Bawumia for President 2024 campaign, has highlighted the success of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's extensive regional tours.
Speaking on Accra 100.5 FM's Ghana Yensom morning show, hosted by Odehyeeba Kofi Essuman on Friday, June 14, 2024,Mr Kumah expressed optimism that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) can break the eight-year political cycle in Ghana.
He said the flagbearer’s tour of the sixteen regions have bolstered the party’s quest to break- the -eight come December 7, 2024.
Mr Kumah emphasized the effectiveness of the Vice President's house-to-house campaign strategy, alongside meet-and-greet sessions and meetings with special interest groups.
He noted that these approaches have significantly elevated the campaign's impact.
"The strategy is doing the campaign a great deal of help,"Mr Kumah stated, referencing Dr. Bawumia's recent tour of the Ashanti Region.
He dismissed claims that the NPP has been busing supporters to campaign events, asserting that the enthusiasm observed is genuine and widespread.
Mr Kumah also praised the Vice President's focused campaign efforts, undeterred by what he described as "shenanigans" from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the lead-up to the December 7, 2024, general elections.
He projected that the strong support in the Ashanti Region could lead to an overwhelming 88 percent vote for the NPP.
During the tour, special groups reportedly endorsed Dr. Bawumia's proposal to review the country's tax system, including granting tax amnesty to business owners.
Mr Kumah's remarks underscore the campaign's confidence and strategic initiatives aimed at securing victory for the NPP
