Dec. 7 polls: Reject ‘serial liar’ Bawumia – Asiedu Nketia tells Ghanaians
The National Chairman of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has urged Ghanaians to reject Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the forthcoming 2024 general elections.
The NDC National Chairman made the call citing the NPP’s failure to deliver on key promises made in its 2020 manifesto.
During a rally in Mamfe as part of his tour of the Akuapem North Constituency, Mr. Asiedu Nketiah delivered a scathing critique of Dr. Bawumia, whom he labelled a “serial liar” for what he described as a consistent pattern of unmet pledges.
“Bawumia promised to give vehicles to motor riders in place of motors; ask him if he delivered. Where are the vehicles? He couldn’t deliver on the 2020 manifesto promises. Reject Bawumia and the NPP outright during the 2024 general elections. He will not deliver on his promise,” Mr. Asiedu Nketiah declared.
The NDC Chairman further argued that Dr. Bawumia and his government have shown a lack of capability in managing the country’s resources effectively, asserting that they have nothing new to offer the nation.
