NDC supporters in Afigya Kwabre South decry neglect of PC

Supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate(PC) for Afigya Kwabre South in the Ashanti Region have voiced concerns over the party's failure to adequately support their candidate, Ms. Vivien Nyuzagla Nuzagl.
At a press conference, the group's leader, Ayuba Osman, criticised the constituency's executives for not actively promoting the candidate.
He noted that none of the executives had been seen wearing branded t-shirts for the candidate, further alleging that necessary resources to boost her campaign have not been provided.
According to Osman, since the NDC's campaign launch, Ms. Nuzagl has received only 140 t-shirts and a few party flyers from former party executive Betty Mould Iddrisu.
He pointed out that, in contrast, other constituencies receive daily logistical support from both regional and national party headquarters, raising suspicions of internal sabotage against the candidate.
Osman also revealed that Ms. Nuzagl's campaign has faced transportation challenges.
Her personal vehicle, an old Mercedes saloon car, recently broke down, leaving her reliant on public transportation (trotro) for campaign activities.
Meanwhile, a new pickup truck, reportedly donated by the Mould family for campaign purposes, was handed to the Constituency chairman, who allegedly uses it for personal errands.
Despite these obstacles, Osman remains optimistic.
He noted that the NDC is gaining ground in the Constituency and, with the right support, could pull off a surprise victory against the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming December elections.
Osman called on the party's leadership to urgently provide Ms. Nuzagl with campaign vehicles, t-shirts, and other essential resources to bolster her campaign efforts and maximize the party's chances in the Constituency.
