NPP, NDC have sinned against Ghanaians, they’re the worst among the worst – Ayariga
The founder of the All People’s Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga, has accused the two leading political parties in the country, the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) of sinning against the Ghanaian people.
According to Dr Ayariga, both parties have brought the country to where it is currently where each Ghanaian owes GHS100,000.
Speaking on the Class Morning Show, Thursday, 28 September 2023, Mr Ayariga told show host Korku Lumor that Ghanaians are yearning for a third force as both parties are responsible for the current state of the country’s economy, saddling each Ghanaian with a debt.
“They [Ghanaians] are yearning for a third force and over the years, NDC and NPP have not been sent. They have actually sinned against this country, they’ve sinned against the Ghanaian people, they have brought us where we are now, with huge debts that every Ghanaian is almost owing GHS100,000,” he said.
Mr Ayariga noted that the NPP and the NDC have only changed tactics, by parading themselves as being better than the other to amass votes.
“Now the problem is that they keep changing themselves and telling Ghanaians various stories to entice them that they are the best among the worse. They are the worst among the worst. They are just not the best, they are part of the worst.”
He also stressed that what Ghanaians need currently is the best president or party to govern them and not those who would keep experimenting with their future.
“We are looking for the best that will turn this country around, make our resources useful, make our youth useful, make our students specially skills-trained given special talent to meet the future demand and be able to fit into the future that we’re looking for.
“But what do we do, we keep changing the curriculum of education on a daily basis just to confuse the future leaders and we have succeeded in confusing them,” the APC leader indicated.
