NPP accuses NDC of 'planned vandalism', promises to respond 'forcefully'
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of planning to "destroy billboards and posters" of NPP flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
In a letter dated Friday, September 20, the NPP said the alleged NDC operation is planned for "tonight".
The statement, signed by Salam Mustapha, the National Youth Organiser of the NPP, instructed that "every billboard and poster of John Mahama too should be pulled down and shredded into pieces" if the NDC carries out the forecast event.
The statement titled 'NPP will respond forcefully to NDC's planned vandalism', ended thus: "To all party executives across the structures, let's show that we are prepared for this elections in every strand."
