NPP announces Thurs. Feb. 13 presser
The main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced a press conference at its headquarters at Asylum Down in Accra.
According to the official flyer shared on the party’s verified handles, the presser will take place on Thursday, February 13, 2025.
The advertised time was 2 PM.
“All media houses are invited,” the party noted.
The announcement follows Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng declaring former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta a wanted man for causing financial loss to the state.
Mustapha Abdul-Hamid was also accused of embezzling state funds while serving as the CEO of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA).
Furthermore, the President John Mahama’s Cassiel Ato Forson-led Finance Ministry has reported the discovery of more than 80,000 suspected ghost names on the payroll of the National Service Authority (NSA), something the ministry noted took place during the erstwhile Nana Akufo-Addo administration.
