PNP opens nomination for presidential, nat’l officers, waives off 50% for women aspirants
The People's National Party (PNP) has announced the opening of presidential and national officers’ nomination for interested members.
Interested members can pick up nominations from the party’s head office at Kokomlemle in Accra.
A statement issued by the party said: “Picking the nomination form is free.”
However, interested members would be required to pay filing fees.
Members picking nomination for Presidential Candidate/Chairman and Leader would be required to pay GHS100,000.00, Vice Chairman and Leader GHS50, 000.00 and General Secretary GHS30, 000.00
Also, members picking nomination for National Treasurer would be expected to pay GHS20, 000.00, National Organiser GHS20, 000.00, National Women Organiser GHS10, 000.00 and National Youth Organiser GHS20, 000.00.
Women aspirants are however to pay “50 per cent of the filing fees stated above,” the statement indicated.
It urged interested members to pick and file their forms from “8th to 15th August, 2024.”
It added Congress to conduct elections shall be held on the 24 th and 25 th August, 2024.”
