Photos: Akufo-Addo, Mahama join Rawlings to pay last respects to late mother

President Nana Akufo-Addo and former President John Mahama joined former President Jerry John Rawlings on Saturday, 24 October 2020, to bury the ex-military leader’s mother, Madam Victoria Agbotui, who died at 101 years old.
“On Saturday, 24th October 2020, I attended the final funeral rites held for the late Madam Victoria Agbotui, mother of the 1st President of the 4th Republic, His Excellency Jerry John Rawlings, at the forecourt of the State House”, President Akufo-Addo wrote on his Facebook timeline, adding: “Later that day, I was the Guest of Honour at the Anniversary Ball to climax the 70th Anniversary celebrations of the Graphic Communications Group Ltd.”
Also, Mr Mahama wrote on his Facebook timeline: “With President Jerry John Rawlings, Founder of the NDC, at the Burial Service for his late mother, Madam Victoria Agbotui, at the Ketascho Park, Dzelukope, Keta”.
