Reshuffle so we get new faces – Kodua to Akufo-Addo

The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Kodua, has urgently called on President Akufo-Addo to undertake a prompt reshuffle of his government.
Speaking at the party's annual thanksgiving service held at the party headquarters, Mr Kodua said it is important to appoint new faces to drive the NPP towards its objectives.
Expressing concerns about the conduct of certain appointees adversely affecting the party's popularity, Mr Kodua stated, "If you are tired, resign and leave so the party can retain power."
He specifically directed his plea to Ministers, CEOs, and MMDCEs who feel fatigued and have not been reshuffled, urging them to consider resigning instead of undermining the party's progress.
Addressing the need for change within the government, Mr Kodua stated, "If you are a Minister, a CEO, or an MMDCE and you have not been reshuffled and you think you are tired, resign, don't sabotage the party."
He further appealed to President Akufo-Addo, stating, "It is time for some changes in the government so we get some new faces to continue. We believe that if we get new appointments, we will be able to retain power in the next election."
The call for a reshuffle is viewed as a strategic move to invigorate the government and enhance the NPP's electoral prospects.
