Francis Abu back in the gym as recovery progresses
Black Stars player Francis Abu has made encouraging strides in his journey to recovery, taking another positive step this week as he returned to the gym to continue his rehabilitation programme.
During Ghana's Asian recent tour, the Toulouse FC midfielder sustained fractures to two bones during an international friendly against Japan in Nagoya; an injury that required successful surgical intervention.
Abu's latest gym session marks a new phase in the recovery process, with progress continuing under close medical supervision.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA), together with the Black Stars’ medical and technical teams, has expressed appreciation to Ghanaians for the outpouring of support and well-wishes.
The association emphasised that Abu was responding very well to treatment and remained firmly on course to regain full fitness in the coming months.
