2024 budget now passed

The 2024 budget has been approved by parliament through a headcount.
The majority caucus walked out of the house last week during a similar exercise following a dispute over the voice-vote result.
The minority caucus had demanded a headcount but the majority caucus would have none of that, thus, its walkout.
On Thursday, 7 December 2023, however, the budget sailed through by 138 votes to 136.
After the headcount, Speaker Bagbin said: “The ‘ayes’ had 138. Nos were 136. One absent. The ayes have it. The 2024 budget has been approved.”
