State Housing Company Limited launches 24-hour service centre, unveils housing plans
The State Housing Company Limited(SHC) has officially launched its 24-hour premium and express service centre, marking a new era in affordable housing delivery.
The company has over 300 housing units scheduled for completion this year, with a focus on high-quality and affordable homes.
The initiative includes the redevelopment of the Kaneshi Estate, Kanda Estate, and Effiakuma Estate.
Additionally, the company has completed affordable housing projects in Koforidua, Wa, and Tamale as part of its Greenfield efforts.
Speaking at the launch, Managing Director, Dr. John Bawah, highlighted notable projects, including seven completed regional headquarters for the Ghana Immigration Service in Tamale, Damango, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Tema, and Sunyani.
More projects are underway for the Ghana Prisons and Police Service.
He stated, " I am happy to announce for the first time to the public that we have secured the renewal of head leases for five of our most critical states in the country.
Dr. Bawah also warned the public of impending actions to reclaim properties illegally occupied.
The company has also honoured the late Samuel Sarpong with a block unit named "The Samuel Sarpong Block".
And he stated, " that is to keep his memory and legacy moving ".
