Ghanaian hairdresser Chelsea-Abigail Owusu Ansah sets new Guinness World Record for hair locking

Chelsea-Abigail Owusu Ansah, a talented hairdresser from Ghana, has etched her name in history by setting a new Guinness World Record (GWR) for the most hair locked in a single session.
On March 6, 2024, at Ashongman Estate in Accra, Chelsea accomplished the remarkable feat of locking 27 heads of hair in just eight hours, demonstrating her exceptional skill and dedication to her craft.
The world record was officially confirmed and announced by Chelsea on Saturday, 7 September 2024, when she proudly shared photos of her Guinness World Records plaque on Instagram.
