I will break Lynx' jinx – MzVee
Ghanaian Afropop musician, MzVee, has stated that she will break the jinx surrounding her former record label, Lynx Entertainment, where the career of any artiste who leaves takes a nosedive.
MzVee said unlike other artistes, she will continue to produce hit songs to entertain her fans despite parting ways with Lynx Entertainment.
Artistes such as Irene Logan, Eazzy, ASEM and a host of other musicians who left the record label have been unable to produce hit songs like they did when they were under the record label.
But speaking with Prince Benjamin on the Class Drive on Class91.3FM, MzVee said she has armed herself with a team that is ready to maintain her brand, adding that she will not be a spent force.
The "Come and see my mother" hitmaker wondered the kind of mentality her predecessors who were talented had after leaving the record label.
“Lynx is made up of a team of people who have specific roles, and they do it so well and they are all hardworking; if the artiste is not sleeping, they are also not sleeping. It’s the same with the team I have now, they are super hard-working, and they love what they do; if I’m not sleeping, they are not sleeping.
“So, I don’t know what mentality the other artistes left with. I have got the talent, and the right team, and I have got love, and I think that is really going to go a long way because when I was really not on the scene, people just kept saying: 'Come back, come back, where are you? we are missing you'. It was overwhelming. Just these text messages alone tell me there’s no way I’m going to just start and stop, it’s going to go a very long time,” MzVee asserted
