Alan meets clergy over his ambition to lead NPP
Mr Alan Kyerematen, one of the front runners in the race to lead the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 general elections together with his wife Patricia Kyerematen today Tuesday, January 24, 2023, met the clergy to inform them of his intention to run for president.
The breakfast meeting was held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel Accra.
The breakfast meeting was to interact with the clergy and further solicit their advice and support for the ambitions of the resigned Trade and Industry Minister as he proceeds to run for president.
It was also to solicit their views on what could be done to save the country from its current economic crisis among other things.
Mr Alan Kyeremanten in a Facebook post said he was so happy to meet with Christian brothers and sisters who have stood for the faith through thick and thin in the country.
In attendance at the meeting were Prophet Isaac Owusu-Bempah of the Glorious World International Church, Archbishop Salifu Amoako, Rev Dr Christie Doe Tetteh, Rev Robert Ampiah-Kwofie amongst a host of other Christian leaders
