V/R: Two arrested over suspected ritual murder in Korve
Police in Korve, a suburb of Akatsi North District in the Volta Region, have arrested Dzagey William and Agbemenyo Yao in connection with the suspected ritual murder of Agbodzi Konor.
the late Konor was reported missing on Friday, January 10, 2025, after leaving home to cut firewood for charcoal.
After a three-day search, community members made a tragic discovery of his mutilated body.
Speaking to Class News, the Assemblyman for the area, Martin Luther King Gakpo, urged residents to remain calm and allow law enforcement bodies to handle the matter.
Meanwhile, the body of the deceased has been deposited at St. Anthony Hospital in Dzodze, awaiting an autopsy.
The family of the deceased is appealing to the police to expedite investigations and release the body for burial.
