GES to recruit new teachers

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced plans to recruit qualified teachers ahead of the 2019/2020 academic year.
Candidates who wish to be recruited, according to a statement signed by the Head of Human Resource at the GES, Adjoa Van Vicker, should have completed and passed the final-year College of Education Examination, completed the one-year mandatory national service, passed the teacher licensure examination and be prepared to work at wherever he/she is posted to by the GES.
The statement added: “Persons who do not meet all four stated requirements above will not be shortlisted.”
There are also limited vacancies for graduates with Early Childhood/Basic Education who meet the above criteria for consideration", the statement said, adding: "Qualified candidates should complete the application form and upload the relevant certificates as stated above on www.gespromotions.gov.gh on or before September 15, 2019".
