Auntie Muni’s death: My condolences to her family – Bawumia

Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has reacted to the news of the death of popular waakye seller Aunty Muni who passed away today, Wednesday, 3 January 2023.
In a Facebook post, Dr Bawumia stressedthat: “Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him, we return.”
He also expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased.
“My condolences to her family. May Allah forgive her shortcomings and grant her Jannah,” Dr Bawumia wrote.
Auntie Muni passed away at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) in Accra after a short illness.
Auntie Muni's final resting place will be in Tamale today, in accordance with Muslim customs.
Auntie Muni's renowned waakye joint, situated in Labone, Accra, has been a cherished culinary haven for locals and visitors alike.
