Funeral service held for Samira Bawumia's security personnel who perished in accident

A funeral service was conducted for Mumuni Fuseini, a member of Samira Bawumia's security detail who tragically lost his life in an accident on Saturday, 13 January 2024.
The funeral took place on Monday, 15 January 2023.
The late Mumuni Fuseini was part of the convoy accompanying Mrs. Bawumia when the unfortunate incident occurred.
The convoy collided with a bus at Ohene-Nkwata near Nobewam in the Ejisu-Juaben Municipality of the Ashanti Region.
The multi-vehicle accident involved two Toyota Land Cruisers, a Mercedes Benz car, and the Sprinter Benz bus.
Among the eight victims, four sustained severe injuries.
The funeral service saw Vice-President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife, Samira Bawumia, in attendance, expressing their condolences to the family of Mumuni Fuseini.
The Vice-President and Mrs. Bawumia were observed in a solemn mood during the ceremony as they stood by the family of the deceased.
Mr Fuseini had been a dedicated member of Mrs. Bawumia’s security detail for approximately five years.
The burial proceedings were conducted in accordance with Islamic customs, honoring the religious traditions of the departed.
