Chief of Staff commends Goldbod staff during working visit

Chief of Staff at the Presidency, Julius Debrah, has paid a working visit to the Ghana Gold Board (GOLDBOD) as part of efforts to familiarise himself with the institution’s operations and express the government’s appreciation for its contributions to the country’s mineral sector.

During the visit, Mr. Debrah commended the management and staff of GOLDBOD for their dedication and hard work in regulating and promoting responsible gold trade in Ghana.

He acknowledged the critical role the agency plays in ensuring transparency and accountability within the gold industry.

“I want to thank all of you for your continued service to the nation. Your efforts in safeguarding Ghana’s gold resources are commendable, and I wish you the very best in your work going forward,” the Chief of Staff stated.

The visit afforded him the opportunity to engage directly with staff, listen to their concerns, and discuss ways to enhance the agency’s efficiency and impact.

 

Mr. Debrah reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting GOLDBOD in fulfilling its mandate, assuring the team that their work remains crucial to Ghana’s economic development and international reputation in the gold trade.
