Harriet Kyeremanteng Oppong wins Nkoranza South NPP primary

Harriet Kyeremanteng Oppong, the special aide to the chief of staff and deputy director of political affairs at the Office of the Chief of Staff, has emerged victorious in the NPP primaries for the Nkoranza South Constituency.
She secured 666 votes, representing 84.1% of total valid votes cast as against her main opponent and former MP Charles Konadu Yiadom, who polled 126 votes.
She said her victory was a win for the governing New Patriotic Party, calling for unity in the constituency in the lead up to the general elections.
Oppong, affectionately known as Obaa Noaaa, has promised to bring everyone onboard to secure victory for the party in the 2024 elections.
