The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, has called for deeper collaboration between India and Ghana as a means to drive development not only in the two countries but across the African continent.

Delivering an address to Ghana’s Parliament during his official visit today, the Indian leader outlined key areas for strategic partnership, including trade, technology, and climate sustainability.

He stressed that stronger bilateral ties could unlock new opportunities for economic advancement and shared prosperity.

“This is a pivotal moment for India-Ghana relations,” the Prime Minister said, emphasising the mutual benefits of closer cooperation.

“Our partnership can become a model for South-South collaboration, driving innovation and sustainable growth across Africa.”

He highlighted current joint efforts and proposed future initiatives aimed at boosting trade, sharing India’s technological expertise, and supporting climate-friendly development programmes tailored to local needs.
