NDC’s parliamentary, presidential primaries to take place May 13

The main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced the dates for its intended Presidential and Parliamentary Primaries.
The Primaries which will be held to elect a flag bearer for the party and parliamentary candidates for the 2024 elections, will take place on Saturday, 13 May 2023.
According to the party’s time table released on Wednesday, 18 January 2023, individuals interested in contesting are to pick up nomination forms from the headquarters of the party or the NDC’s website from Wednesday, 22 February to Friday, 24 February 2023.
However, filing and submission of the forms would be done from Monday, 20 March 2023 to Wednesday, 22 March 2023.
Picking of forms for parliamentary candidates will take place from Monday 22 to Wednesday, 24 February 2023 at GHS5,000.
Parliamentary aspirants will pay a submission fee of GHS40,000 from Monday, 20 March to Wednesday, 22 March 2023.
Vetting for parliamentary aspirants will take place on from Monday, 27 March to Wednesday, 29 March 2023, while presidential aspirants will pick up forms from the head office of the party beginning Wednesday, 22 February to Friday, 24 February 2023.
Presidential aspirants will be expected to submit their forms from Monday, 20 March to Wednesday, 22 March 2023.
