'Promisekeeper' Bawumia will deliver on his promises – Gideon Boako assures Ghanaians

Dr. Gideon Boako, the spokesperson for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has expressed confidence in the Vice President's ability to deliver on his campaign promises ahead of the 2024 general elections.
According to Dr Boako, Dr Bawumia has been consistent in outlining his vision for Ghana's future, and this consistency is a testament to his commitment to fulfilling those promises.
Dr Boako described Dr. Bawumia as a "promise keeper," emphasising that the Vice President has a track record of delivering on his pledges, particularly in the area of digital transformation and economic reforms.
He noted that many of Bawumia's initiatives, such as the digitization of public services and mobile money interoperability, have significantly improved the ease of doing business in the country.
Dr Boako also highlighted Bawumia's ability to clearly communicate his ideas, which has earned him the trust of many Ghanaians. He believes that the Vice President's focus on transforming key sectors, like health, education, and infrastructure, will bring about tangible changes that improve the lives of citizens.
Dr Boako added that Bawumia's promises are not just political rhetoric but are backed by actionable plans.
In addressing concerns about the Vice President’s ability to implement these promises if elected, Dr Boako reiterated that Dr. Bawumia has a thorough understanding of Ghana's challenges and has already begun laying the foundation for many of his initiatives.
He urged Ghanaians to have faith in his leadership, noting that Bawumia’s track record as Vice President speaks for itself.
Dr Boako emphasised that Dr. Bawumia’s consistency and credibility set him apart as a leader who can bring real change to Ghana.
He called on the electorate to support Bawumia’s bid for the presidency, assuring them that the Vice President would not waver in delivering on his promises to the nation.
"Dr Bawumia has been consistent and he hasn’t changed his position.
Since he first spoke at the UPSA, and the things that he said, he hasn’t changed anything or moved away from his ideas."
"If you look at his energy and the idea and his age, this is the right time that a country like Ghana needs to elect Dr Bawumia as President.
He’s always been focused on his task and not corrupt or anything else. For the impact he has achieved as Vice President, there’s no doubt that he will be a fantastic president for the country," he stated.
He was speaking in an interview on Monday, October 7.
