Prophet Isaac Ahorsu criticises Kpone Katamanso MP over poor road conditions
The Head Pastor of Cross Over Prayer Ministry, Prophet Isaac Ahorsu, has voiced concern over what he describes as the inability of the Member of Parliament for Kpone Katamanso, Joseph Tetteh, popularly known as Joe T, to aggressively champion road development in the constituency.
Speaking as a resident, Prophet Ahorsu said the area has seen little visible development since the MP assumed office, with road infrastructure remaining in a deplorable state.
He noted that the situation becomes particularly dire during the rainy season, when many roads become nearly impassable, causing significant hardship for residents.
According to the pastor, the lack of improvement is disappointing, especially given the constituency’s long-standing support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He argued that development, particularly in road construction and rehabilitation, has fallen short of the expectations of the electorate.
Prophet Ahorsu, therefore, appealed directly to the President to intervene and ensure the rehabilitation of roads in the Kpone Katamanso Constituency to alleviate the challenges faced by residents.
Responding to the concerns, MP Joseph Tetteh rejected suggestions of inaction, stating that road contracts covering parts of the constituency have already been awarded.
He assured constituents that contractors would soon be mobilised to site to begin work.
