Reward Bawumia with your votes; he fought for your inclusion – Oppong Nkrumah to former NPP executives and appointees

Former Information Minister and former Works and Housing Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has called on former executives of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and past government appointees to reward Dr Mahamudu Bawumia with their votes.
Speaking on Thursday, September 25, as part of Dr Bawumia’s campaign activities, Mr Oppong Nkrumah reminded the group that the NPP’s 2024 Presidential Candidate was instrumental in ensuring their inclusion in the party’s decision-making process.
He recalled that it was Dr Bawumia who championed the amendment of the NPP’s constitution to allow former party executives and government officials to participate as delegates in the party.
“Dr Bawumia fought for you to be part of the decision-making process of our party. He ensured that your voices would not be left out,” Mr Oppong Nkrumah said.
According to him, this amendment was more than just a constitutional change, as it practically valued the service and contributions of those who had previously held key positions in the party and government.
“By broadening the base of delegates, Dr Bawumia demonstrated his belief that your experience and commitment should continue to shape the future of the NPP,” he explained.
As the NPP candidate continues his campaign, Mr Oppong Nkrumah urged these newly recognised delegates to reflect on the role Dr Bawumia played in giving them a voice.
“The best way to acknowledge his effort is to reward him with your votes. Let us stand firmly with him and ensure his victory as he leads the party into the 2028 general elections,” he appealed.
