Samira Bawumia escapes death in fatal convoy crash that killed one of her people

A fatal motor accident near Nobewam village in the Ashanti Region involving the convoy of Mrs Samira Bawumia, the wife of Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, has claimed one life in her entourage.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
The collision, which transpired at Ohene-Nkwata on the Kumasi-Accra Highway, entailed two Toyota Land Cruisers, a Mercedes Benz car, and a Sprinter Benz bus.
Mrs Bawumia, however, escaped unhurt and doing well, according to sources within her circle.
Among the eight individuals involved, four sustained severe injuries.
The convoy was en route to the Ashanti Region at the time of the tragic occurrence.
