WAFU B U20: Black Satellites trail behind Nigeria 3-1 at Half time
Ghana's Black Satellites face a daunting second-half challenge after falling 3-1 behind to Nigeria at half-time in their WAFU B U20 Championship encounter in Côte d'Ivoire.
The Young Black Stars endured a difficult opening 45 minutes as Nigeria capitalized on their chances to establish a commanding two-goal advantage before the break.
Despite pulling one goal back to keep their hopes alive, Ghana struggled to contain the Flying Eagles' attacking threat, leaving themselves with plenty of work to do in the second half.
The Black Satellites will now be hoping for a spirited comeback after the interval as they look to overturn the deficit and salvage a positive result against their fierce West African rivals.
With the match still in progress, all eyes will be on Ghana's response as they seek to mount a second-half fight back and keep their hopes alive in the WAFU B U20 Championship.
