IDRTU’s 15% fare hike to begin today

The 15 per cent fare increment by the International Drivers and Road Transport Union (IDRTU) of the Ghana Trades Union Congress (TUC) will take effect today, Monday, 23 June 2022.
The increase in fare by the IDRTU follows the increasing cost of fuel.
The union has, therefore, called on passengers to take note and adhere to the increment and “help us sustain our job”.
The union also urged its members to adhere to the fare adjustment to avoid creating “unwanted” exchanges with passengers.
