V/R: GES interdicts 3 officers of Tsito SHTS
Ghana Education Service (GES) has placed a ban on three officers of Tsito Senior High Technical School (SHTS) following a viral video showing a taxi driver who was accused of conniving with the school's bus driver to hoard foodstuffs meant for students.
This was stated on the official GES Facebook page, Saturday, January 18, 2025.
"Rev. Joy Kafui Akpebu, Headmaster of Tsito Senior High Technical School; Sylvanus Awunyo, Storekeeper; and Samuel Kwame Ampeh, Driver; have been interdicted pending an investigation into the alleged diversion of 100 cartons of tin tomatoes intended for student meals in the Volta Region," GES said.
"This decision is in accordance with Section 8, Clauses (i-v) of the Ghana Education Service (GES) Code of Conduct, which authorizes the interdiction of staff who may interfere with an ongoing investigation," GES explained, futher.
