The Chief of Kwahu Mpraeso in the Eastern Region, Nana Ampadu Daaduam, has issued a passionate appeal to citizens of Mpraeso, both at home and abroad, to rally support towards the completion of a long-delayed modern clinic project.

The call, delivered through the Chief’s spokesperson, Nana Yaw Asante, emphasises the urgent need for improved healthcare infrastructure in the town.

Currently, Mpraeso lacks a fully equipped clinic capable of providing quality healthcare services, leaving residents without critical medical support.

This renewed focus on the clinic’s completion follows a generous gesture by the Bediako family of Mpraeso, who recently put up a one-storey building in memory of their late father, Sampong Bediako, father of the founder of Ernest Chemists.

The facility is designated for essential community uses, including baby weighing services and conferences, and reflects the family’s enduring commitment to the town’s development.

Speaking on behalf of the Chief, Nana Yaw Asante, underscored the importance of unity and collective responsibility.

He urged all natives of Mpraeso, regardless of location, to contribute resources towards realising this much-needed healthcare project.

Representing the Bediako family, Nana Yaw Abrah Bediako noted that their contribution was both a tribute to their late father and a demonstration of their devotion to the town’s welfare.

He encouraged other indigenes, whether resident in Ghana or in the diaspora, to emulate this example by giving back to the community and supporting local development.
